HollyWood Immersive is an Experience nothing short of extraordinary and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Left to right: THE A TEAM!!!

Since discovering the Hollywood  Immersive program in 2013 I have never looked back. There are so many schools, programs and workshops that you can take in our industry it can become a bit overwhelming at times as to finding the right training for YOU.  I have been doing this a long time now and I can confidently say that Hollywood Immersive has been one of my most proudest achievements to date. I say that because every time I work with the Immersive team I have incredible breakthroughs in my craft and that to me is a massive achievement. The Immersive team have a very unique and authentic way of teaching their students. As they continue to teach us that we are all unique actors, the way that they work with each individual is an art in itself  and extremely unique. They aren't there to teach us how to "act" nor are they your meal ticket to the Oscars because that's not what this journey is about, they are there to help and encourage us to discover ourselves as artists and above all assist us in finding a magical process that we can allow ourselves to create in.

When my beautiful friend Lilly Dawson mentioned the Immersive team where coming to Melbourne Australia, I knew It was an opportunity I didn't want to miss.

Director Lilly Dawson couldn't have found herself a more incredible team. Beverly Hills playhouse director Gary Grossman, and teachers Michael petted and Adam Rotenberg are nothing short of sensational. To have the opportunity to work with such Inspiring and authentic grounded teachers is a blessing in itself. Over the course of four days we covered so much ground. Day one and two we work shopped our scenes and worked extremely close with each teacher who helped us bring so many different colours into our craft and allowed us to feel extremely safe in our environment.

On day three we spent the morning talking about the administration side of our craft and how important it is for us to remember that we are our own business. We went round the room and had the opportunity to ask any questions we had or voice any concerns we may have had about ourselves as artists. These men have so much knowledge, spirit and most importantly love for there craft it's hard to not jump on board with them.

Gary Grossman said to us "Remember that the glass is always half full never half empty" And that is the spirit we carried with us for the rest of the week. They will not only help in assisting you to become the best artist you can discover within your self but their belief in you as an artist is the most beautiful thing I have ever been apart of.

On day four we continued refining our scenes and working close with our partners until the evening when we had the opportunity to perform our scenes to our fellow peers, teachers and audience. The friendships, support and encouragement that we had all formed for one another over the course of just four days was just beautiful.

There was something extremely special happening over those four days and If you ever get the chance to work with the immersive team I encourage you to take a leap of faith.

If this is a journey that to wish to endeavor then as Michael petted says

"it takes a super human effort in our industry"

So trust me when I say this first step is the one you want to take.

Gary Grossman and the team shared one very important message with us at the beginning of the week before we started.  We will be sharing a lot with you over the next four days and you will be learning a lot but if you only take away one thing that really resonates with you and you can put that one thing Into your practice and that helps you than I'm happy with that. Gary I continue to gain and take away so much knowledge every time is work with you all, this you know. However this time, after  work shopping my scene, I sat down and took a moment, looked around the room said to myself I am exactly where I am meant to be . I am finally Home.

That moment of clarity is something I have been searching for, for a long time.

Thank you to the man behind the Camera Lliam Murphy for capturing all the magic!

Hollywood Immersive is an experience nothing  short of extraordinary and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

To the Immersive team thank you for allowing me to continue discovering the artist within myself , allowing me to open up my heart to taking risks within my craft and most importantly for playing such a huge part in helping discover that I have finally found my voice and place in this world as an artist.
